Frequently Asked Questions
Do you have a booking fee?
Yes. A booking fee of $100 must be submitted to reserve you wedding dates--the day of and the day before.
Are you willing to travel?
Yes. Wedding venues within an hour of Grand Junction, CO will accrue no extra charge. Weddings in other areas of Colorado and Eastern Utah will be billed for drive time and lodging when necessary. This will be considered when you receive your estimate.
What services can I book at an hourly rate?
Nearly every service included in a coordination package can be requested at an hourly rate if you're just looking for a little extra help. From addressing your invitations, to managing your RSVP list, to coordinating clean-up crews and decoration transportation, each service is subject to calendar availability.
What is the benefit of the virtual service?
This planning package allows those with a smaller wedding (or a smaller wedding budget) to receive all of the planning help without the rehearsal and day-of management.
What exactly does a coordinator do?
As your coordinator, I walk through the last three months of planning with you, ensuring every detail and contingency has been thought through and decided on. I also run the wedding rehearsal the night before. Most importantly, I serve as your "event manager." I direct setup and teardown, make sure everyone gets paid, and handle any last-minute hiccups.
Who should hire a coordinator?
Everyone! Truly, the gift of organization and planning goes a long way on this momentous day. You should strongly consider booking today if your wedding:
- has separate ceremony and reception venues
- will have more than 80 guests
- is less than three months away
- is stressing you out. This should be fun and exciting!
Why do I need a coordinator?
Imagine your wedding day. When you wake up, your only concerns should be getting ready and ending the day married to your love! Without a coordinator, the couple gets bombarded by questions throughout the day: "Is it time for cake? Where is the bathroom in this building?"
The morning after, they wake up thinking, "Did I remember to tell James which suit pieces were rented and needed to be returned? Is the top layer of cake in the trash or did mom remember to get it in the freezer?"

Say no to the stress. Hire me.

This is your wedding gift to yourself!
When should I hire a coordinator?
Your best bet is to reserve your coordinator as soon as you know your wedding date! Then I work with you periodically through your engagement with the bulk of our work together happening in the final three months prior to Wedding Day.

I do not double-book which means that I only take one wedding in a weekend. Reserve your date so it doesn't get taken--especially if you are having a summer wedding!
