The Most Fun Things I've Seen at Weddings

Weddings are classic. They contain the same elements and follow the same basic structure. Every couple has a special day with a unique group of people gathered to shower love and good wishes on them. Beauty fills these heartwarming events.
Even with classic wedding structures, no two weddings are exactly the same. From personal unity elements to the music chosen, the details make the day.
I'm in a season of life where many of my peers are joining one another in holy matrimony... myself included (Love you, Caleb)! Creativity, intentionality, and personality go a long way. Here are some of the best things I've seen across these weddings.
A Hilarious Father-Daughter Face-Off
This sweet, soft-spoken friend and her father moved to the dance floor to share a special moment. We all love the father-daughter dance and often get teary eyed as they whisper and laugh together. This dance started much the same way, but it quickly turned into a hilarious medley as father and daughter faced off. Watch it here:
A Giant Charcuterie Table
Feeding the host of guests at a wedding can be a budget nightmare. What about allergies? Pre-orders on the RSVP card? This couple left it all behind and opted for an afternoon wedding with the largest charcuterie table I have ever seen in place of a meal at the reception. From fruits to nuts to meats, this table had countless options. And for dessert? A simple cake and a charcuterie dessert table with macarons, cookies, and more.
Unique Guest Books
Picture books full of engagement photos. Canvas prints. Hand crafted wood pieces to hang on the wall afterwards. The options for personalizing your wedding guest book never end in a world with Pinterest, Shutterfly, and Etsy! Opt for something you'll display on the wall or the shelf, not a book you'll close and never touch again.
Truly, the list could go on. From best friends writing and singing original songs for the couple, the BEST decorated cars, and grand entrances that bring laughter to every guest, personal elements that capture the personalities of each couple make all the difference.
